CAN A CHRISTIAN BE POSSESSED? 2

By Peace Wobo

This is a continuation from where I stopped in my first write up on this topic, so if you are just reading this, I will advise you to quickly read the first part of this topic to get a better understanding of the topic.

A Christian cannot be possessed!
Let's also consider Colossians 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"
A kingdom is a domain where a king rules and reigns. Only the decree of the King stands in his kingdom, no other king has the right to make any decree in that kingdom except the King of that reigns in that kingdom. God is the King of kings Himself and a Christian has been translated to the kingdom of the King of kings to live the kingdom lifestyle on earth, how can the power of darkness rule in the life of one that is in God's kingdom?
A practical example; I have just been granted a Visa to leave Nigeria for Canada and I left on Friday and on Saturday morning the Nigerian Government made a decree that nobody is allowed to move around after 8pm. I am no longer in Nigeria at the time of this decree, therefore, will I be affected by this decree?  No way! That's exactly what happens when you get born again. Light and darkness has nothing in common. Nevertheless, according to Romans 6:16 "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?" When you go back to sin, after you have been born again, then you can give the devil access into your life.
Bless you!
