What you never knew about Melchizedek

By Peace Wobo
Today, I will be talking about the only  man that ever lived but had no genealogy (no mother,  father or grandparents). Before I talk about him,  let's establish the meaning of genealogy. According to Google; "genealogy is a line of descent traced continuously from an ancestor". So,  this man am about to introduce you to had no trace of ancestors yet he lived and walked among men.

Have you ever heard of Melchizedek?  Yes,  he's the one.  So many people read the Bible but know little or have no idea of who Melchizedek is or they have read about him but does not have knowledge of His true identify. That's why Peaceable Peace is here. I remember the first time I told my mummy about him, that he had no genealogy she asked me to stop talking nonsense, then I referred her to Hebrews chapter 7 and kept quiet, the outcome, you will soon find out.
He is a Priest of the most high God and he is a Priest continually. He was first introduced in Genesis 14:18-20 [18] "And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
[19] And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
[20] And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all".
His full biography was revealed in Hebrews 7:1-4 [1] "For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
[2] To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
[3] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
[4] Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils".

Let me make it clear to you that Jesus was Melchizedek, He humbled Himself to be born as a man through a woman to leave us an example and to be the sacrificial lamb for our sins, if He wanted to appear into the world He could have done so just as He did in the old Testament.

Do you remember Jesus telling the Jews that before Abraham I was and that Abraham rejoiced to see my day?
John 8:
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

I believe you have learnt that Jesus was Melchizedek in the Old Testament and His priesthood is forever?
Remain Blessed!
