TRACT OF LIFE

As shared by Rev. Banwo Moses
One Life, One Destination
As provoking as the title of the tract you are about reading may sound, yet it has a number of unchallengeable truths and facts to offer you. Hence, in the interest of your eternity, please don't be tempted to switch off or delete it in annoyance. Read on and read through. You will be blessed as you do.
Beloved reader, do you know or often remember that you have only one life to live? Do you often remember that your sojourn or existence in the land of living can come to an end any moment from now? Do you remember that you, as a person, have no duplicate of life? Do you realize that immediately after death, another experience begins with you all through eternity? Have you ever meditated on the fact that a soul ever born never dies? Do you know that eternity has two branches of destination; out of which you are entitle to only one? Do you realize that you as a human, your experiences go beyond the grave after closing your eyes in death? If it happens today, where will you spend your eternity? The power to choose lies with you.
A popular verse of the scriptures says "And as it is appointed unto men (including you) once to die, but after this the judgment" (Heb.9:27). It is therefore erroneous to believe that at death you relocate to another place on the surface of the earth to continue normal life. The Bible says after death, it is judgment; which leads you to either eternity of blissfulness or eternity of agony depending on how you utilize the privilege given to you by God to be among the living today. The Bible further says "...I have set before you life (eternal) and death (eternal), blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" (Deut.30:19). You must not procrastinate further; making the right choice now. Today is the day of salvation, tomorrow may be too late.
To make the right choice of eternal life, you must be convinced of the following and then apply them to yourself.
(1) Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me *(Psalm 51:5).* Meaning you were born a sinner and since then, you have been developing and growing in iniquities. Now you are an expert in it. It may be stealing, fornication, lies, self-nakedness, murder (abortion) and all sorts of wickedness.
(2) All have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God (Rom.3:23).  Meaning: In your present spiritual state, being a sinner, you are separated from God. And at death, you are eternally separated from Him as you are banished into the lake of fire continuously burning all through eternity.
The question now is, is there any way out? Of course! There is. By His characteristics faithfulness, compassion and matchless consideration, the Almighty God declared saying "...I have no pleasure in  the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die..."?(Ezek. 33:11). Hence, a complete U-turn from the ways of perdition to the pathway of righteousness through genuine salvation experience is all the Lord demands for. You simply confess your sins (as many as you can remember). Ask for forgiveness with a promise never to return back to those sins again. Then accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Now pick up your Bible and Join a Bible believing church where you are prepared for eternity of blissfulness through systematic teaching of Gods word. Let the following facts serve as your search light as you embark on a life long Christian journey to heavenly Canaan:
a) Each day passing by moves you closer to your grave. Therefore flee temptations.
b) Salvation is personal. Hence, be ware of the fear of man or influence from friends.
c) Don’t ever be satisfied with your spiritual attainment until you step into the heavenly shore either through rapture or death by reading your Bible  daily and obeying the contents.
d) Let all that happen around you continuously remind you of the imminence of Christ second coming. He is coming back again
e) Let the Bible has the final say in all you do and in decision taking (11Tim 3:16, 17).
f) Sure spiritual security lies with being practically involved in aggressive evangelistic outreaches in obedience to the Great Commission.
g) Never forsake the assembly of true believers as you maintain your focus looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of (your) faith... (Heb. 12:2).
h) Always remember one thing: One Life, One way leading to One glorious Destination. Your choice today determines your eternal destination.
The Lord will uphold you to the end as you make the right choice in Jesus name. Amen.
