A Dying Woman that Refused to be Saved

Christian Tract
ALL OF US HAVE SINNED!
A woman who had lived a good and moral life and had never felt she needed a Savior was dying. But when a minister offered to come and talk with her, she allowed him to visit. The pastor explained the way of salvation by grace through faith in Christ. Emphasizing that Jesus died for the sins of everyone in the world, including her, he urged her to trust the Saviour.
The woman responded “Do you mean to tell me that if I’m going to be saved, I have to come to God on exactly the same terms as anyone else – even the most wicked person in the world?” “That’s right”, the pastor answered, ‘there’s only one way”. The woman thought for a moment and then declared, “I was baptized as a baby, confirmed as a teenager and have been a member of my church. I contributed to building the chapel you see over there.
I am not a thief, my children are well behaved and you say I am a sinner just like the armed robber, the prostitute next door and the wee smoker down the road? Well, if that’s the case, I don’t agree with you and your Jesus.  That’s not what my church has taught me!”. Because of her pride and her unwillingness to come to Christ as a sinner, she had to face the judgment of God. She failed to recognise that even “good” people do not qualify to stand before a Holy God.

We all need a Saviour to deliver us from our sins. We must humbly admit our guilt, acknowledge that we could never save ourselves, and by faith receive the gift of eternal life that God so freely gives. The Lord graciously offered salvation to all – because we all are sinners!

You can come to God on His terms and experience the wonder and joy of being forgiven all your sins, big and small. Good people and bad people – we all stand condemned before a Holy and Righteous God.
The Bible says:
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord.”Romans 6:23.

If you would like to accept God’s son, Jesus Christ into your life today, please pray the following prayer meaningfully:

PRAYER: “Dear Lord God, I agree that I am a sinner and I repent of every sin. I plead for forgiveness. Please wash me in the blood of Jesus Christ, which He shed on the cross. Jesus, please come into my heart and be the Lord and Saviour of my life from this day forth. Help me to live for You for the rest of my life. Amen”

If you said that prayer, you are now born again. I welcome you to the kingdom of the Son of His love.
