It is unfortunate that people always look out for any available reason to abuse and condemn servants of God. I don't know if it's as a result of envy or wickedness. Though it is not out of place that some peddle the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ but by their fruits we shall know them. Those people who peddle the gospel make their belle their gods. I have been following the recent saga of Pastor David Ibiyeomie and Daddy Freeze. I have followed almost everything that has been said, especially the recent condemnation of the pastor's act by the Presidential aide Lauretta Onochie, adviser of the President on Social Media. My question; where was she when Daddy Freeze called Oyedepo screeching bald headed fowl and other unspeakable names? She claims to be a Christian but kept quiet when a senior man of God was insulted but is speaking up when the abuser gets a little of his own poison.
Who appointed or anointed Daddy Freeze to correct messages preached by Oyedepo? Who made him a god over God's servants?
He talks about debate, debate what, God's word? What nonsense! Where was it written in the Bible that we should debate the Scriptures? Or does he not know what 2 Timothy 2:23-26 says?
2 Timothy 2:23-26

23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth; 26 And that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, haven been taken captive by him to do his will.
The last verse is actually my prayer for you, Daddy Freeze. May it not be too late for you to recover in Jesus name amen, because from all you have been saying for the past four years it is obvious you have given room to the devil. You started foolish and ignorant disputes, you have insulted and rained all sorts of insults on "Men of God", you have questioned everything the church stands for and I hear you say you preach Jesus Christ. Please, which Jesus taught confrontation of the Word of God? We confront sin and evil, not God's Word! Only the devil dares to confront God's Word and that is why he is doom for hell. All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God and it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. There is nothing like for debate and argument, stop calling for debate rather humble yourself to be taught because you are lost. These "Men of God" have been patient with you enough and I don't see anything wrong with open rebuke. Yes! You deserved it!
I watched your response to David Ibiyeomie, I was surprised to hear you sound so gentle and harmless, I never knew you could be that gentle. Jesus Himself In Matthew 7:12, said "Therefore all things, whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
So you hate abuse, insults and criticism, whereas that has been your only calling for the past four years! Is it not amazing how people find it cheap to abuse others and then feel victimized when they get abused? All those condemning Ibiyeomie should watch it, I am not saying that am in total support of his words to Daddy Freeze because he is a man of God but I am saying that he is a man too and Daddy Freeze insults is enough to make any man get angry and after all, Bible says we should be angry and sin not. David Ibiyeomie has every right to be angry too. Daddy Freeze has done too much and he has been ignored for too long, just so he realizes that "Men of God" can also get angry and speak up. He can't keep eating his cake and expect to have it back.
