I had this senior in school who would always bully the younger students and take any thing of value from them. She took a lot of things from me but I couldn't report to anyone because reporting would get me into bigger trouble.
While all these was going on, I never knew there was a teacher who had always watched me and observed me return to class after the break in tears.
One day, after going out to get my snacks for break ‘the bully’ stopped me and asked me to surrender whatever I had bought. While I was about stretching my hand to give out, that teacher appeared all of a sudden from the moons and told me not release anything to the senior.
I was so scared because I knew what would befall me if that teacher was no where around me. Of course, I have heard testimonies from other students.
It seemed the teacher knew what I was thinking. Then, she said... KATE, DO NOT BE AFRAID, GO INTO YOUR CLASS AND STAY CALM. I WILL HANDLE THIS.
And truly, she did. That weekend, the bully was expelled from the school and no student had to experience such threat again.
The Lord reminded me of this experience while I was studying the book of Exodus 14 today.
Exodus 14:14 (NLT) which says...
[The lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Maybe, your life has been like mine which the devil will always come to snatch things of value from you... But here is a message for you tonight, STAY CALM.
Obviously, it looks like the Lord has been doing nothing about your predicament because the devil has snatched a lot from you. But listen,
God has been observing. He has been seeing those tears that flows from your eyes after each day and the good news is that He is already here for you and all you need to do is to keep calm.
When I mean keep calm, I don't mean you should stay quiet. Yes, I mean you should start celebrating your victory because the Lord Himself is fighting your battle.
Don't let fear make you surrender your peace, and your joy and your happiness to the devil. It is time for you to stay calm, and rejoice and celebrate Jesus because the AFFLICTIONS ARE NO MORE. JESUS IS FIGHTING FOR YOU.
Can I get believers type and declare JESUS IS FIGHTING FOR ME…
