Prayer is a two way thing. You communicate with your heavenly Father when you pray. Your understanding of what communication is all about will help you to understand prayer better.
We know that communication is the process of exchanging ones ideas, feelings and thought with another person. It involves two or more parties and their must be feedback to ensure that communication has actually taken place.
Without feedback, there is no communication. So, if we must pray effectively, we must learn to communicate with God in line with His Word and not our own words. We must also learn to get feedbacks from Him. That way we can very much assured that we have spoken with our Father and He in response spoke to us.
