Psalms 18: 25 "With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward".
Hello Peaceables', as always, I bring you another topic that will help you understand the state of your relationship with God and equally determine your reward from the LORD God. The first day I took notice of our opening Scripture, I paused and ruminated over it again and again just so I could grab the message.
The LORD God rewards us according to how we live our lives no wonder, Galatians 6:7 says, "Don't be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others - ignoring God!" (MESSAGE). This is Scripture explaining Scripture. It is very clear with Psalms 18:25-26 that you can't expect righteous reward when you live in unrighteousness. God is not unjust, you cant also live in righteousness and get unrighteous reward. (Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous 1 John 3:7). With the merciful, the LORD shows Himself merciful; if you want to enjoy the mercies of the LORD, be merciful to people. With the upright He shows Himself upright - God cannot show His uprightness to a dishonest person. To the pure, God shows Himself pure and to the froward God shows Himself froward.

To be froward is to be disobedient, contrary, unmanageable, difficult to deal with; with an evil disposition.
So, how have you experienced God in your life? Have you been blaming God? Do that no more but look into your life carefully. (Please, am not referring to test of one's faith here neither are mine talking about the making process, am talking about our relationship with God and the visible effects).
The state of our heart and the way we live our lives, determine how God relates with us. We can't be so wicked to people and expect God to be good to us. Our reward, you and I reward, depends on us!
