STAGES OF LIFE

By Rev. Ezekiel Ibiyinka

There are different stages of life that you must pass through before arriving at your wealthy place. One of these stages is a proving stage. There is actually a wealthy place for you but before you can get there, there are stages you must pass through. This proving stage is so crucial that you cannot avoid it.

If you fail at that stage, you cannot be approved. Until you are approved, you cannot get to your wealthy place that God has for you. God can decide to test you in many ways and except you are very sensitive, you will not know. Except your heart is right, you cannot pass the test.

For instance, before God puts millions in your hands, He will test you with thousands and see how you will manage that. When you are going through the process of proving, remain faithful and grateful.

Gratitude is the key to greatness. If you do not have a grateful heart, you cannot see the faithfulness of God in your life. God is ever faithful because He will never allow you to be tempted beyond your capacity. He will also make a way of escape.

When you look at Psalm 66:10-12, you will see that it was the same God that brought them into the net that made them pass through fire and water but at last he brought them out into a wealthy place. This stage is crucial because until silver is refined or purified through fire, the beauty does not come out. Until silver or gold is purified, it is not admirable.

"For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water: But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." (Psalm 66:10‭-‬12 KJV)

Until you are proved, you can not be approved. God will always prove a vessel before using him/her. Even Abraham was first proved by God. See Genesis 22:1-18.

To prove something is to test it. God simply tested Abraham to know what was in him by telling him to go and offer his only son Isaac as a sacrifice. That is why God said in verse 12, now I know that you fear me, for you not to withhold your only son from me. God then confirmed his promise that in blessing, He would bless Abraham and in multiplying He would multiply him.

May you receive grace to pass your own test and get to your wealthy place in Jesus name.
