IS THE GARDEN OF EDEN STILL IN EXISTENCE?

By Peace Wobo

This question came to my mind after studying the Book of Genesis today.
I don't know if people are using our heads by telling sweet lies or maybe they are probably right.
I have heard some people say that people have discovered and located the Garden of Eden and people are visiting it every now and then in search of the tree of life so that they can eat it and live forever. Even though, they've found the Garden, they are unable to locate the tree.
Do they even know the tree of life? Is it boldly written on the tree, "The Tree of Life?" I know and accept that the Garden of Eden was on planet earth but is it still in existence after God destroyed earth and everything in it with a flood?
In Genesis 6:6, God repented for creating man. In verse 17 "I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish." God said He will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh and everything that is in the earth shall die. Everything, no exception and the Garden was in the earth and plants and animals which were living things were also there. Following this verse one could say that the Garden was actually destroyed because the only exception was Noah that found grace in the sight of the LORD God, (Gen. 6:18). Everything that was on planet earth was destroyed, you can also read Gen. 7:21-24. Only Noah, they and things with him survived.
My question then is, was the Garden not destroyed by the flood? Because God established a new Covenant of be fruitful, and multiply and replenish the earth with Noah and his households and God never mentioned the Garden of Eden again that's by the way though. It could also be that God never wanted to try such with man again.
So, those who claim to have discovered the Garden of Eden, how, where and when?

Well, am just thinking, because it's very possible that the garden is still in existence because following verse 7 of Genesis 6 "So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” God specifically listed the things that He wound destroy, so it's possible that nothing happened to the garden.
But, even if it still exists, who knows where? Even if they get to it by mistake, who knows how it looks like? Only Adam and Eve knew it. Besides, the Cherubims and the flaming sword which turned every way won't even let you smell it because it is out of bound for humans.
Please, I might be wrong but am only reasoning in line with the Scripture, so if you think am wrong in any way, no problem, we learn everyday and am ready to learn, just correct me with Scriptures to back up your correction, I will gladly stand corrected. I really want to be cleared though there are some questions that can only be answered when we get to heaven.

Please note: This write up is not intended to raise unnecessary arguments but knowledge. My point is; don't let anyone deceive you, just be guided by the Word of God. Whether the garden exists or not, whether you find it or not, seriously I will really love to visit the garden just to have a view of it but not to find a way of living forever. Nobody can live forever by finding the garden, God has left us with only One Way to eternal life and that way is Jesus Christ our Saviour. Nothing more, nothing less!

Thanks, God bless!
