It is unfortunate that most unbelievers understand the power of spoken words than most believers. Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof". The Bible clearly states that our death and our life is in our tongue. God created the world by spoken words and has given us such power as well. Please, how many of us watch Zee World? I do follow them at times, and I observed something special about the Indians. The parents always bless their children before they embark on any project, assignment or whatever, they always seek their parents blessings and they get it. Though they are not born again Christians yet they understand the power of spoken words. I remember how my mother will always talk about dying each time something happened to her. I tried severally to stop her from confessing negatively but still she did and today she is no more and she did not die at a good old age either. I miss her a lot but she's gone. You must understand that your words are powerful. A mother will call the child thief and when the child starts stealing tomorrow they will be wondering where and how the child got that blood; it's your words nothing more. You will call your child a disturber, a failure, good for nothing and when the seeds of your spoken words starts manifesting in the child's life you begin to wonder how it happened. Some parents will complain and beat that child whereas it's their fault. Some will be sleeping from one prayer house to another looking for solution whereas they are the problem and equally the solution. Most people that are going through challenges are just victims of the results of their spoken words. Learn to speak right, learn to bless and not curse. Speak possibilities and you shall have what you say. Make proclamations of life and see it work wonders in your life. There is power in your spoken words. It is not too late to change any situation by speaking the right words now.
