THE MAN I LOVE

There is a man I love so much, his name is Nathaniel Bassey, though am yet to meet him in person but I really love this man with the love of the LORD, I crush on his person as a Gospel Artist. Hey! It's godly crush and as a gospel artist. Why I love him: I love him because he is a man of the Secret Place. How did I know? The kind of songs he releases proves it. This is because the kind of songs that comes out of him over time can only be revealed in the Secret Place.  People of the Secret Place are often revealed in the open by what they carry and what they release. Check all of Nathaniel Bassey's songs and you will understand what am talking about. Still follow songs he will release after reading this to clear your doubts. He is currently the only Nigerian Gospel Artist that I know that has no Price tag before he comes to minister in a church, he accepts honorarium he doesnt make demands like others. Maybe there could be few others, but I only know of Nathaniel for now. I knew this when my church tried to invite him for a programme, the only reason why he couldn't make it was because the notice came late and he was already booked that period. My pastor said so himself. In fact, my pastor said he was in awe when his manager who is also his sister said, anything the Lord blesses the church to bless him with because he asked for his price since that has become a norm. What a man! What a Gospel Artist? No wonder God keeps blessing him.
I was humbled by his humble nature after watching him on an interview on TV.

Have you seen how gospel artists demand for money? Even some upcoming ones? God will have mercy. 

It is unfortunate that some people sing anything in the name of gospel songs, when I listen to some songs some people sing in churches today I wonder if that was the same kind of song Paul and Silas sang that brought down the power of the Holy Ghost. Gospel songs and circular songs are now contending in the house of God. 

Is a song a gospel song because god was mentioned in it when the artist is known as a circular artist? Is godwin a  Christian song, is able god a Christian song, simply because god was mentioned in it? I used small letter g to represent the god because am not even sure of the god these artists refer to. Does these songs glorify God? Does it bring down the glory of God? Your answer is as good as mine, No! So why do we sing it in Church?  Before you call me holy, if you feel like singing these songs, please sing it in your house and don't lead brethren to sing it in the church. 2Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 

God has a standard and He will not change His standard to suit anybody.

I really love Nathaniel Bassey for being consistent in his service to the LORD, more grace Brother Nath, please know that Peaceable Peace loves you and the great work God is doing through you. I pray for more grace and may you never take your eyes off Jesus as you keep learning from Him. God bless you and keep you, may you never deviate in Jesus' name, Amen.
