PUNISHMENT FOR EMPLOYEES THAT DEFRAUD EMPLOYERS

The other time, I talked about punishment for employers that withhold employees wages and salary. Today,  I will be concentrating on employees that defraud employers. You know that there is always two sides to a coin. The Word has also clearly stated how employees are to relate with their employers and their job.
First and foremost, let's consider the word defraud.
Matthew 24:[45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
It is expected of employees to be faithful to their job whether their employer is there is not. Some employees are used to rendering eye service, they are most hardworking and faithful employees when they know that their master(employer) is around but the moment he travels and leaves them for other appointments they show their true lazy selves. You won't be blessed if you are such an employee because you are not a faithful employee. Do what you know is right always whether your employer is there or not.  This is why some people will work for others for years but never get blessed because they render eye service which is never blessed.
Ephesians 6:5-8 will give you a better understanding of this [5] Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
[6] Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
[7] With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
[8] Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

You will receive from the Lord whatsoever you sow whether good or bad. If you don't serve well as an employee, God's judgement and punishment awaits you.

You see, that's God's word not mine.
In conclusion; Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
As an employee, serve your employer with the fear of God. And if you fear God, you won't steal from your employers, nor cheat them, nor render eye service, nor defraud them in anyway. It is wrong to steal from your employer or stay off duty for no reason.
God bless you. If you have been failing as an employee in any of this area, repent today and make your way right.
