Month of spiritual renewal
Welcome to the month of September, the 9th month of the year, the beginning of the last quarter of the year and beginning of the months of ending with “ber “ signifying blessings and prosperity.
The ember months as people call them will bring you blessings and not curs s, prosperity and not poverty. In these months God will make things to work together for good and lift up his countenance upon you. No evil will befall you and your family members and all you lay your hands upon to do shall prosper in the name of Jesus.
Why do I prophetically proclaim these months for blessings and prosperity? Because September leads to the celebration of the birth of Jesus , celebration of the end of the year and celebration of a new year. September begins the preparations for the greatest event in Christianity - Christmas . Therefore it is not the beginning of sorry but of joy.
Don’t believe the negative confessions of the ignorant who prefer to raise thoughts of fear rather than thoughts of victory. The ember months are not for you to fear but for you to arise and to shine .
2 Timothy 1:7 is clear :
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
[7] For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
We do not fear what lies ahead in the months of September to December because our God is in control of the months ahead and Jeremiah 29:11 says…
The thoughts that he thinks towards us are good and not evil to give us a good future and a glorious end.
September, October, November and December shall be good for you and me and members of our victory family in the name of Jesus. God shall bring us to a glorious end of the year in the name of Jesus. Amen.
When you travel, the Lord shall go before you and shall be with you. He shall cover you with his wings and shall bring you back safely.
Whatsoever you lay your hands upon shall prosper - your career, your business, your education, your finances , your health ; whatever … shall prosper in the name of Jesus.
God has given me the tongue of the learned and empowered me to decree a thing and it shall be established; so I stand on the authority of the word of God and decree This new quarter for good, for blessings, for prosperity, for good health, for many great harvests and advancement …in the name of Jesus, Amen.
September is the 9th month of the year. The number 9 in the Bible symbolizes divine completeness or coveys the meaning of finality.
- Christ died at hour nine of the day, or 3 p.m., to make the way of salvation open to everyone.
- His death puts an end to the rule of Satan over mankind and terminates every satanic authority over a child of God. Tht was why Jesus said on that cross that “It is finished”. He finished the work of salvation.
This month, your victory shall be complete; your testimony shall be complete
What God has started in you shall be completed this month of September in the name of Jesus
Philippians 1:6 NKJV
[6] being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
I want you to be confident of this very thing; the good work God started in you, He shall complete it this month in the name of Jesus. Amen.
In Victory International Ministries and chapel of Victory International Churches, this month of September is declared as the month of spiritual renewal by intense personal prayers and intercession and meditations in the word.
I want you to declare with me;- This month is my month of spiritual renewal - through personal intense prayer and intercession and meditation in the word.
- ii declare that I will give myself to intense prayers and intercession and intense meditation in God’s word
- I declare that in this month, I shall be renewed and transformed in my spirit, soul and body
- I declare that I shall be empowered for victory and for testimonies this month in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Spiritual renewal is empowerment with spiritual power to live victoriously as a believer; to demonstrate victory over Satan, over the world, over the flesh.
God’s word commands us to be renewed spiritually :
Ephesians 4:23 NKJV
[23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
For continuous victory in life, you have to be renewed spiritually - you have to be renewed in the Spirit of your mind .
This means be renewed in your spirit man - the real person which is inside you and in your mind.
Renewal brings new strength and ability
Renewal re-equips you for life’s journey.
Renewal makes you stronger in your spirit
Renewal makes you fresher in your spirit energy
Renewal gives you new strength to face life and challenges
God wants your to renew and refresh so that you can fly higher and win more victories .
He designed renewal for those destined for the top. They must stop and renew and refresh.
This is why happened to the Eagle - the king of all birds.
She stops at some points in her life and renews herself.
She renews her feathers - picks off the old ones and stays on top of the mountain to gain new feathers.
After she renews she becomes stronger and more power and can fly higher and more swifter.
This is what September is designed for .
For you to be renewed in your spirit and in your mind.
Be ye renewed in the Spirit of your mind . Eph 4:23
How are we going to be spiritually renewed this month?
I. by intense prayers and intercession
Ii. by intense and consistent meditation in the word of God.
Iii. we will give ourselves to praying consistently, persistently, fervently and increasingly; praying at day time and praying in the night and meditating in the word of God.
- we will pray every 3 hrs anywhere we are- for 30mins to 1 hr or more
- we will pray at night between 12 am and 4 am for at least 1 hr
- we will have family night vigils on 9th and 23rd September between 12 and 4 am.
- we will pray in the spirit and also pray in our understanding ( 1 Corinthians 14:14,15.)
You will be revived and renewed spiritually when you stay awake every day this month to pray.
- We will stay awake to pray and be renewed.
- We will stay awake to pull down strongholds
-We will stay awake to lay foundations for victory for the last quarter of the year
-We will stay awake to renew our minds by meditating n the word.
David is one man who understands staying awake. He said in Psalm 119.

[148] My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

[148] My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.

[148] I lie awake every night pondering your promises to me.
I want you to stay awake and receive power;
Stay awake daily to pray and receive New spiritual strength
Stay for 1 hr or more
- pray, read the scriptures and meditate
Look at David in verse 147 of the same Psalm

[147] I wake before the dawn and call for help; I hope in Your words.
He says I wake before dawn and call for help
- waking up between 12am and 5am is a good time to call for divine help and when you do, your life will be changed and transformed.
Don’t sleep away this month
- wake and pray
- wake and read the scriptures
- wake and meditate in the word of God
- wake and intercede
- wake and pray in the spirit
- wake and renew your spiritual strength and power
- wake and get victory before the day begin.
I want you to make this confession with me:
- my eyes shall stay open through the watches of the night to pray and to meditate in God’s word
- I will wake before dawn and call for help
- through the help of the Holy Spirit, my voice shall be heard before the throne of God every night.
- As I pray daily, I shall be renewed in my spirit and in my mind.
- I receive strength to wake up to pray daily this month and as I pray, I shall be renewed in grace, in power, in wisdom, in understanding and in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
Prayers
1. Ask God for grace to wake up and to pray and mediate for 1 hr and above this month.
2. Pray with Psm 119: 147 and 148

[147] I wake up early in the morning and cry out. I hope in your word. [148] I stay awake all night so I can think about your promises.

[3] Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
- Ask God to lighten your eyes, to wake you up and to hear you as you pray
- Decree that you will not sleep the sleep of death

4. Now declare the month of September as your month of spiritual renewal
- pray that you will be renewed spiritually this month
- that your spirit will be renewed, refreshed
- that your mind will be renewed and refreshed
- that every person of you will be renewed this month
- pray for new spiritual strength, power, grace, wisdom etc
5. Declare that this month shall be the month of completeness for you
- that God will complete and perfect things for you and your family
6. Declare that this quarter shall be for blessings and prosperity for you, your family, and our church and members in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic decree and Blessings
- I decree and declare that this month shall bring good to you and your family.
-You shall not fail nor suffer loss
God’s goodness and mercy shall follow you everyday of this month
-The Lord shall be with you and protect you by day and by night
-The Lord shall bless your going out and coming in everyday this month.
-I decree and declare that all that God has started shall be completed in your life and family this month. His glory shall be made manifest in you and all that are yours in the name of Jesus.
-This month you shall be renewed in the spirit of your mind and shall be victorious in all your way and works in the name of Jesus. Amen.
