Should we seek His face or His hand?

Someone once said we should seek God's face and not His hand. Should this be accepted by any true child of God ? I disagree because we need to seek His face and His hand. We seek the intimacy of His face, but we also seek the power of His hand. It's not either/or; it's both/and. While waiting on God, we seek His face and His hand.
Psalms 123:2 Like servants, alert to their master's commands, like a maiden attending her lady, We're watching and waiting, holding our breath, awaiting your word of mercy".
In waiting, we need both His face and His hand to minister and reach out to us.
Some people often say that "heaven helps those who help themselves" which is often a misconception but meaning that God is waiting for you to act before He acts. While that may be true in some instances, it is not the truth of Isaiah 30:18 "And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for Him".

When Isaiah says the LORD will wait, it doesn't mean that He is waiting for you to do something; it means that God is strategically delaying His miraculous visitation because He has greater things in store for you than you've even asked for but to give you the fullness of what He has planned for your life, He will use the season of your waiting to prepare you as a vessel and also to prepare circumstances around your life so that you will be able to step forward into the proper atmosphere when His release comes to you. He's waiting so that He can even crown you with greater blessings, He's waiting to exceed your expectations. When it comes to waiting on God, you need to keep doing the same thing but expecting different results. We must learn to wait on God's face and His hand.
Hear this as I conclude; Isaiah 64:4 "Since before time began no one has ever imagined, No ear heard, no eye seen, a God like you who works for those who wait for him".
God shows up for everyone that waits on Him. Learn to Wait!
Some readers come to the Bible to gain insight or truths and principles. However, coming to the Bible with your head can leave your heart untouched.
No wonder so many people can quote from Genesis to Revelation but their lifestyle does not fit into the teachings of the Bible. They're head people. They come to know the Book but not the Author. (The Pharisees had this issue).
There is so much more to gain from the Scriptures than truth about God. You can gain God Himself.
Go for God, you can find Him by beholding and knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. So, seek God and you will find both His face and hand.
