I won't forget this message that was preached by one of my Pastor's last Sunday. In fact, every believer that still has heaven in view shouldn't ignore this and that's why I've decided to write about it because we can't afford to miss the End Time Harvest. Also, we always pray that the Lord of the harvest will send in labourers into the harvest, but how often do we pray to be part of the final harvest?

Text: Matthew 13:47-52; 7:21-23; 24:31
Matthew 13:
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet which was cast into the sea and gathered in fish of every sort.
48 When it was full, men dragged it up on the beach, and sat down and sorted out the good fish into baskets, but the worthless ones they threw away.
49 So it will be at the close and consummation of the age. The angels will go forth and separate the wicked from the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God)
50 And cast them [the wicked] into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and wailing and grinding of teeth.
51 Have you understood all these things [parables] taken together? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.
52 He said to them, Therefore every teacher and interpreter of the Sacred Writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new and [treasure that is] old [the fresh as well as the familiar].
Matthew 24:31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect (His chosen ones) from the four winds, [even] from one end of the universe to the other.
The end time harvest is the final separation and gathering which is the bottom line of all the harvest. You and I will be involved in this final harvest, we won't be the ones to make the selection but the Lord will. You must live your life unto the glory of God having the end time harvest at the back of your mind. Always remember that God is taking note of all that you do. The angels will be the instruments used for this harvest, and they will be harvesting souls which includes you and I.

Take note of Matthew 7:
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?
23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].
In this account, the Lord was not referring to unbelievers but to Spirit filled, anointed people, Christians who are spiritual and have gifts, who speak in tongues and perform miracles in the name of the Lord, notable men and women of God yet the Lord knew them not. We must be mindful of how we live our lives because God is the final judge and whatever judgment He gives concerning us on that day is true and final.
Why do we need to think of the end time harvest and final separation?
- It will help us to adjust ourself.
- It will help us to remain focused.
Five things we must do to be part of the final harvest from (2 Thessalonians 1:3-11):
Be sure that you are growing in faith by hearing the Word consistently and been in constant touch with God. Whatever you do, don't lose touch with God.
Show love. God is love and we must love God with everything in us and love our neighbours as ourselves. (Go read 1 Corinthians 13)
Live a life of Patience and endurance. Even the scriptures is patient and comforting (Romans 15:4).
Live a life worthy of your calling. Be holy for He is holy.
You need to remain intact in the place of prayer (Pray about everything, pray always).
The miracles you perform won't qualify you on that day, rather living a life of righteousness and holiness will. May we not be cast away on that day in Jesus name, Amen.
