What you need to know about missing rib

Adam indeed found his missing rib in the garden of Eden but was any other person’s rib missing after Adam’s? Genesis 2:22 “Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man”. Someone might be wondering where am heading with this. Well, just follow through and am sure your confusion will be cleared in no time. I often hear some men say; I found my missing rib, really! Which rib did you actually miss that you found? The only missing rib was Adam’s rib nobody’s else rib got missing because after Adam and Eve God never went back to create man like He did with Adam and Eve but continued procreation through Adam and Eve. So, how can you claim to have found your missing rib if it was never actually missing? You can only say you have found something that is missing but how do you find it if it was never actually missing? After Adam God stopped taking ribs to create woman, rather woman gave birth to both man and woman. Missing rib method was once and for all. Don’t think too much, I will clear you on this. Let’s go to 1 Corinthians 11:9-12 “9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own[a] head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12 For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God”. Though this particular place is talking about proper worship but we can also draw a lesson from here. Man no longer falls into a deep sleep for rib to be taken rather they are born.

I believe you must have fallen head over heels for someone before and thought; oh! She’s my missing, yes! He is my man, I was made from his rib, I can’t live without him, he is my everything but that relationship never worked out, not because you didn’t give it your best or didn’t try everything in your power to make it work because you really loved him or her but it didn’t just work, then you met someone whom maybe you never liked at first but somehow ended up with him or her and today you two are best spouse ever, and now you can’t but only thank God that you never married your supposed missing rib. Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtaineth favour of the LORD”. You are to find a wife not a missing rib because there is no missing rib out there for you but there’s a wife waiting to be found.

So many people have ended up in wrong relationships and marriages because they were blinded by this missing rib syndrome. They refuse to accept the truth even when it's staring at their faces but later end up regretting. Find your wife, marry your husband, love and remain faithful to each other and don't let anyone put asunder. Bless you!

Am still confused with your missing ribs explanation
Peaceable Peace said…
What I mean is that only Adams rib was missing not yours. So, let's find the will God for us in marriage and not marry the wrong person because we believe it's our missing rib even when it's obvious but we remain blinded by that.
