Where are you drawing from

John 4:15-30      Q.1,7
Jesus Offers Living Water
I just want to briefly share with us what I drew from the Source this morning in the course of observing my quiet time. As you can see, our text is taken from the book of John chapter 4 from verse 15-30.

Jesus offered the woman living water and she didn't hesitate to ask for it in vs.15.
Jesus knew that she was a fornicator, He knew everything about her just as He knows everything about us and still does not condemn us until we condemn ourselves by refusing to accept Him as our Lord and personal Saviour.

In Vs.22: Just like the Samaritans that worshipped what they know not, there are still lots of people today who worship what they know not. Some worship because that's what their parents introduced them to, it is a family tradition, it is a culture, it is a family religion or practice. In this family, this is what believe, while all that is good, you need encounter God yourself.
Do you really know what you worship?
Knowing what you worship is beyond what someone told you but having your own personal experience and encounter. Ask me why am in Christ Jesus and I will share my encounters with you, it's not just a mere story of what someone said to me or made me believe, NO! I have personal encounters, like the Samaritan woman, I also have encountered Jesus and my life has never remained the same.

The woman at the well has never seen or met the Messiah but having a conversation with Jesus prompted her to mention the Messiah. That means that, even without knowing Him, she knew that only the Messiah could probably explain what Jesus was explaining to her. When you genuinely encounter Jesus, clarity will come. When you genuinely encounter Jesus, some useless arguments will no longer be part of your life for you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. When you truly encounter Jesus, you will not hold on to religion but you will live every day knowing that Christianity is a lifestyle and it is the life of Christ.

Jesus has not condemned you even in that your current sinful state, why do you want to condemn yourself by not accepting Him into your life? Why have you hardened your heart?
Why not come and drink from the living water?

You can say this short prayer of salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins today, I acknowledge that am a sinner, please forgive me my sins and wash me. I believe in my heart that You died for my sins and I accept You into my life as my Lord and personal Saviour, thank You for accepting me. Amen.

John 7: KJV
37:In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38:He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39:(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
